Description
I have been in love with Avice Hill lavender for years. It is not like any other lavender I have ever experienced. Crisp. Clean. A whisper of some unknown spice. A bit earthy. A bit spicy.
I hope you will love it as much as I do. Since I am allergic to lavender and can only use it by inhalation, I will not possibly be able to use it all. Help me out folks.
As expected, this delightful oil is very high in relaxing esters. It should be a wonderful sleep aid and relaxant.
I wish I knew enough about chemistry to know what component gives this particular cultivar its unique aroma. I just know I love it.

I first met Avice Hill Lavender in Christchurch, New Zealand about 14 years ago and got to meet Virginia McNaughton, an expert on lavender who bred and named this lavender after her mentor, entomologist, Avice Hill. When I returned to the U.S., I brought as much of the oil as I could get from Virginia and have had trouble finding more of it until now. I can’t think of another word to describe what I feel when I smell this beautiful oil.

This is a new lavender for me and it is wonderful. I use this in my diffuser and on my pillow at night. To me it is a more uplifting than lots of lavenders. When I really want to just crash I use the Bulgarian.
