Yes, if you remember your SkeeterBeater you shouldn’t HAVE any bites. On occasion, you might leave home without it. Sometimes a mosquito sneaks into your bedroom or car, or someplace there should NOT be a mosquito. (Or you open the door to let the dog out and they POUNCE on poor, unprotected you.)

She has blended our Australian Blue Cypress and Cajeput, both recommended for treating stings and “bug bites” with soothing Lavandin and cooling Lemongrass. These are blended into a base of anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving St. Johns Wort Infused Oil.
Those who have needed it are unanimous. It almost instantly eases the burn and itch and reduces swelling and inflammation. Christi suggests storing it in the refrigerator for even greater relief.
Before you ask, I don’t KNOW if it will help with bee, hornet, or wasp stings. Thankfully, we have not had occasion to test it. If you do, we would love feedback!

Please note: This blend is a stronger dilution because it is meant to be used one drop at a time on a bug bite or sting. If you plan to use it on a larger area of your body, please dilute further in a carrier oil of your choice.

I have been using this amazing oil blend for years. ‘After the bite’ name is not quite fitting for this oil. I would call it ‘ heal it all’ oil blend. Several week ago i had terrible facial reaction to some comercial skin care product. One side of my face was covered with blemishes. It was total disaster. I used ‘after the bite oil’ for my entire face. The healing began overnight. In one week my face was back to normal.
Now, this oil is my first treatment for foot blisters, any type of skin irritation and minor cut healing.
I only wish it would offered in 4 oz bottle.

This past weekend I stepped in fire ants and immediately put on After The Bite! It took the sting out and worked great until Sunday night when I had an attack of the “itches” and AGAIN I immediately coated my toes with After The Bite and I’ve not had another itch since! I used the skeeter beater before I started raising monarch and swallowtail caterpillars on my screened in porch, but discovering that they are very sensitive to any topical things on your skin, I immediately ordered this blend because mosquitoes LOVE me! In the past I had tried to create my own blends that worked OK, but I finally gave in and tried After the Bite. I have found if I get a bite and I put After the Bite on immediately (and resist any initial temptation to scratch the itch), the itching stops AND there is no inflammation. This is a big deal for me since any type of bite typically swells up on me and lasts for quite some time. No more itching, no more red inflamed bites – this has become a staple in my first aid kit.
