Calendula is one of the herbalist’s favorite, and most useful infused oils. For years we made it ourselves, carefully removing the petals from the dried blossoms, and infusing for weeks in olive oil. The results varier, based on the blossoms I used, and the color of the olive oil. Today, we are able to provide a uniform infusion through the use of our wonderful Calendula CO2 extract. Yes, we add some infused oil…but it is the consistent quality of the CO2 base that truly makes this an extraordinary, and longer lived, product for your healing use.

Uses: Reduces swelling,aids wound and burn healing, helpful for acne, impetigo, eczema. Antiseptic and regenerating. Use infused oil at 15 or 25%, some authorities and herbalists use full strength. Anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, wound healing. Useful for bed sores, broken veins, bruises, inflamed gums, varicose veins. Effective on rashes, dry, chapped, or cracked skin. Wonderful in salves for diaper rash. Especially useful for dry eczema.

Thank you for advising me to blend the Calendula Infused Oil with Borage Seed. My children all suffer with spotted eczema, and we’ve never been able to get it to vanish completely with things the Dr recommends, like Cetaphil, Eucerin, etc……… My 6 year old daughter recently had an outbreak on both wrists. First I tried my go-to, Coconut Oil, at bedtime. The next morning, No change. That night I rummaged thru some samples I had laying around. I obviously wasn’t going to use SineEase on it, although we love the facial massage blend. I know not to use EO’s without a carrier, but then I spotted Calendula Infused! Hmmmm, worth a shot!
So at bedtime, I applied the entire sample on both wrists. The next morning the dry patches had decreased in size and she didn’t complain about them. Then, when I told you of this almost miracle, you suggested Borage Seed Oil. So I bought some of that along with more Calendula, applied the mixture that night at bedtime, and VOILA! GONE! No dry patches AT ALL!!!!!!! Thank you so much!
