This Witch Hazel is a totally different product from the commonly available commercial version. This is totally additive-free. Since there are no preservatives, please handle with care in order to avoid contamination.

We are finding it even more soothing as an anti-inflammatory than conventional Witch Hazel Hydrosol, and can’t wait to experiment with it.

Herbalist/aromatherapist Jeanne Rose suggests that true Witch Hazel Hydrosol is the number one preferred hydrosol for radiation treatment, that it should be taken internally before and after treatment and sprayed on topically after treatment.

Author and palliative care educator Madeleine Kerkhof-Knapp Hayes recommends it as one of the best soothing hydrosols for itching, alone or along with Helichrysum, Lavender, or German Chamomile hydrosols.

This bears no resemblance at all to the witch hazel in alcohol that is available at your local drug store. Soft and soothing, with no “alcohol” sting.
