The one I like best is the actual action to mother because the noun is simply a female who birthed offspring. It’s so much more than that. To mother is “to treat a person with great kindness and love and to try to protect them from anything dangerous or difficult”… and such is life. So, to all of you protectors and caregivers out there, Happy Mother’s Day!
