Product Information

Sometimes White Fir oil is absolutely breathtaking. And sometimes it is “just another conifer”.

The backstory on this Nature’s Gift exclusive offering is amazing. High up in the Rocky Mountains there exists a tiny group of cabins. The owners do, however, have all the modern conveniences. And this lovely young couple, who already distill our Pinon Pine Resin oil and some other gifts, got word that the local utility company was going into the mountains to clear the utility lines… removing branch after branch of precious White Firs. They immediately loaded their trailor and headed for the scene of destruction. Rather than have the trees go to waste, they brought them home and loaded them into the still. The entire distillation brought far less than a full kilo, and we have ½ of it to share with you.
I fell in love with this glorious Fir oil because of the crisp, clean, freeing aroma…the scent of the deep woods. For those who love the conifers (or even those who don’t) this is a must-have oil for diffusing. Clear the air, reduce stress, and tension. A marvelously freeing aroma.
When diluted and applied topically it should be anti-inflammatory, anti-infectious, and antifungal. For the respiratory system it should be mucolytic, loosening a tight, dry cough. It Is amazingly analgesic, and may be helpful for joint and ligament pain.

Safety: No contraindications or warnings.

SHELF LIFE: Approximately 2 to 3 years after you open the bottle. Storing in the dark, refrigerated, and decanting half full bottles into smaller, full bottles will extend shelf life.

This is a magnificent oil. I blind bought it because I loved the pinon pine created by the distiller so much that I trusted this would be amazing, though I typically am not a huge fan of fir oils. Like the pine, it smells to me like “drinking a tree.” I think I might like it as much as the pine, maybe even more? It reminds me of when my father, who was a woodsman, would bring home a freshly cut Christmas tree he had just chopped down in the woods. The quality and purity of the oils from this distiller are beyond compare. I am so happy that I bought it, and I encourage you to do the same before the limited supply runs out. A true gift from nature.
