Aroma: This essential oil is wonderfully herbaceous, fresh and clearing rosemary that works well as a middle to top note in most blends. It blends well with citrus oils and woody oils like Virginia Cedarwood and Ho Wood.
Aromatherapist notes: When using this particular rosemary, it is important to note its 1,8 cineole content as it can be a good replacement for Eucalyptus Radiata. I have used this particular oil in respiratory support blends, joint support blends and muscular support blends. It is a wonderful essential oil that is uplifting and refreshing in the morning as well. For its chemotype, I consider it a very multifaceted oil due to its potential and anecdotal therapeutic properties.
Recommended applications: Diffuse with other nourishing type oils as it can irritate mucous membranes, topical application using safe dilution ratios, use caution if used in an aromatherapy inhaler.
Blends with: Basil, Bergamot, Black Pepper, Black Spruce, Blood Orange, Cypress, Eucalyptus Ironbark, Ginger, Grapefruit, Ho Wood, Alligator Juniper, Lavender, Kunzea, Lime, Red Mandarin, Sweet Marjoram, Sweet Orange, Peppermint, Petitgrain Bigarade, Scotch Pine, Spearmint, Vetiver, Virginia Cedarwood.
Safety Data: This Rosemary is high in 1,8 cineole component. Do not apply near or to the face of infants or children. Should be used with caution if you have asthma. Caution should be used by individuals with epilepsy when using Rosemary.
• Although many with epilepsy should use caution with this essential oil, the concern lies in the amount of camphor within the essential oil as it has a potential to be neurotoxic.
• Do not place on broken skin.
Shelf Life: About 3-5 years
A couple of months ago, our good friend, Lola King completed her final inventory for Be Kind Botanicals. It was both a blessing and bittersweet. She worked for close to a decade to provide the best oils she could find, even if it meant processing the plant material herself and having a distiller obtain it through distillation. When Marge heard the news of her closing Be Kind Botanicals, she jumped at the opportunity to snag some of her finest inventory before it was gone for good. We are delighted to present to you our “Be Kind” Collection, so that you can experience what Lola and Marge find to be some of the most exquisite offerings of essential oils from around the globe… New Zealand Lavender may be the top of the list. These are in limited supply and will only be sold in retail sizes.
