We have sought a reliable source of true Boswellia sacra, the Sacred Frankincense, for as long as I can remember. Samples were received, tested, and ultimately rejected.

Years ago, I met a young woman who traveled to Oman and distilled her own Frankincense. Through the years, I have followed her journey, read of her moving to Oman, of her exploration of the wadis and mountains where the precious trees are found. At one time she had a wonderful blog. She has since taken it down, and I regret not having saved all the wisdom she shared. But… she has her own store, (an exquisite aroma boutique in Manhattan) and supplies her own business. She sources exquisite rare aromatics, the like you will find nowhere else.

All these years, and it has been under my nose all along. And now, Nature’s Gift is pleased to make available true Sacred Frankincense. Upon inhalation there’s a sense of freedom from the nose up…a feeling of freeing my mind and opening the cerebral. (per Christi) And taking me to a higher plane or level of consciousness…(I haven’t ever said that about an oil before and it sounds “woo woo”, but that is what it does for me!)

SHELF LIFE: Approximately 2 to 3 years after you open the bottle. Storing in the dark, refrigerated, and decanting half full bottles into smaller, full bottles will extend shelf life.
