From Bioesse Technologies we have what we think is the first ever inhalation patch. Please note, these are NOT transdermal patches; the oils do not contact your skin.
Open the sealed packet, peel off the top covering at the tab, and apply 1 to 3 drops of essential oil or blend to the round “reservoir.” Peel the sticky patch from the plastic liner and apply to the chest. The adhesive is a hypoallergenic hydro-gel.
The manufacturer says use for 2 to 8 hours for desired effect. I used one with our Relax Synergy one evening, slept undisturbed all night, and could still smell the synergy in the morning. Our new bookkeeper, Cindi, was our guinea pig for the photo. She mentioned that her sinuses had been stuffed up and she had been miserable all weekend. We put two drops of SineEase Synergy on the patch and applied as shown in the picture. Her first comment, “I can’t smell anything,” but fifteen minutes later “good grief, this stuff works, I can BREATHE!”
For very obvious reasons I would not use them for an infant or toddler, or a patient with dementia. But for when an inhaler is inappropriate, this can discretely be worn under your clothing. A child could wear it to school, you could wear it to your office. Unlike inhalers, they offer a steady “dose” of aromatic vapors for up to eight hours.
We offer individual patches at the same price the manufacturer does, so you can include them with your aromatherapy order.
(Orders of a small number of patches that don’t accompany other products will be shipped in a padded envelope, first class mail. We can’t get our shopping cart to adjust to that, so we will adjust your shipping, if you order no other products.) Order the package of 20 and save.
